The cheerleader's goth - Ota_Owa (2024)

Deep within the hallways is a lone bathroom. A bathroom that no one wishes to go to, as it is simply too far from the main area of the school.

In its core, one girl is looking at herself before turning on the tap water; carefully washing her hands, then closing it to look at herself in the mirror again. A young and small teenage girl is reflected on it. Purple hair slightly hiding her left eye, wearing an attire befitting of an emo... or more likely a goth in her teenage phase. Purple striped sleeves connected to a black shirt hidden under her casual hoodie with a fluffy hood.

Fake lilac eyes were staring back at her. Blinking once, then twice. "This is stupid" She suddenly said. She grabbed the lens slowly, so as to not damage her own eyes, then looked back. 2 simple brown colored eyes welcomed her.

Putting back the lens in its cases, she let out a sigh. She tried the lens thinking that maybe they would fit on her... it kinda did. She just felt too self aware to actually keep them on. She simply hoped that she would understand.

Luckily there was a clock in this bathroom: 10h35. Lucky her there is 10 minutes left before classes start again... to her dismay. She hates classes, not because of the subject but the bullying. She's being called names like: freak, demon, or (her favorite one) тупая эмо-сучка. She literally took the time to translate it to then be slurred at by the translator itself. Funny thing, she usually just says сука back at her... She knows what it means, and she's the type to bite back.

"There you are." A feminine voice suddenly makes itself present. Now this would seem pretty normal... But to the lone girl, now not so lonely anymore, everything fell apart, they were even frightened that shewas here...

Slowly, she turned around and looked at the new presence in the doorway; A tall teenage girl could be seen adorned in a cheerleader outfit made of a red crop top with gold outline with the school logo on it and a red skirt with also gold outline on the bottom and the top. The red color leans more towards Bourgogne than red itself. The girl has blond hair tied into a ponytail with what someone could describe as "cat ears" but it is mostly just a bow to hold the hair together.

The cheerleader stared at the emo girl before entering the room with a slow pace certainty in her movement.

"So, that's where you spend most of your time huh." The cheerleader Stated. "It's a shame I had to "search" everywhere to find you, for you to simply be in the bathroom on the other side of school..."

The emo girl, trying to back herself away from the now practically close cheerleader, tried asking the cheerleader of her presence, to then instead incoherently stutter a sentence together. "Wh-what do you want Lizzy... Here t-to bully m-me a-again?" She would have slapped herself if she could, she's damn aware of why she was here...

"Ah, come on Uzi... You know that's all an act~" She simply stated. Uzi really wished she could slap herself right now, but before she could even muster the will to think of doing it, she was backed up against the wall with the now towering cheerleader holding her against it.

"You know... why do you think I do this, mmh?" Lizzy asked, bringing her face close to hers.

Uzi hates this question, that's why she wanted to slap herself right now. She always asked this question when she tried defending herself... "I-I Do-don't k-know..." She lied, trying to not answer the question...

The cheerleader, on the other hand, didn't like the answer. "Liar." She whispered. "You know exactly the answer. Tell me." She demanded.

Uzi was looking at the floor feeling ashamed to have failed to answer the question... Or dodging it, not that it matters anyway because seconds later, a hand grabs her face and forces it to look at her. "Look at me when I'm talking!" She said loudly, forcing her to look at her. Brown eyes meeting with pink ones. Fake pink ones.

Silence overtook the place for a moment...

...

...

"S-so yo-you can ke-keep "m-me", f-f-for yourse-s-self..." Uzi muttered.

A little smirk appears on the corner of Lizzy's face. "That's the spirit. So now tell me, why are you hiding in here? It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't seen you around the school at all. Is this your new "corner"?" Lizzy demanded again while holding Uzi's chin; her other hand went for her hair, slowly stroking them. Somehow, Uzi leaned into it...

She was trying to find an answer to why she was hiding. I mean, it's obvious, she's hiding from her, but she found her anyway. Uzi was sure that she knew anyway, she just wanted her to say it.

"N-no reason in particular... Just... Chilling...." it wasn't a lie, but it wasn't the truth. It seems to satisfy the cheerleader nonetheless.

Letting go of her hair, she looked at the sink and saw the contact lens case. Taking them, she opened the case and looked at its content. Glancing back at Uzi, then back again at the case. She connected the dots.

"Put them on." she ordered. Putting the case in Uzi's hand, slowly backing away, blocking the exit and watching her.

Uzi obliged and looked back at the mirror. She was embarrassed as hell right now. When it comes to Lizzy, she has to listen or else she would make another rumor to "punish" her behavior. She wanted to denounce her... But who would believe her!? ... Nobody exactly! Even the teacher wouldn't believe her.

This relationship has been going on for years now. Lizzy approached her one day explaining to her everything. That the bullying was an act so that everyone would hate her, and that nobody would love her... Except Lizzy. Only Lizzy would love her.

Even her dad didn't know about it, and everytime she tried to escape, Lizzy would retaliate. Pushing her down more into this endless cycle, so she could only be hers and hers alone.

After a minute, she put the contact lens on again. Then turned towards Lizzy. She had a neutral face at first. You couldn't tell what her emotion was, until she smiled and hugged her. "Oh my god you look beautiful with those. I saw that you bringed the lens I gave you! You should wear them more often. Like that, we match more~" she stated, slowly grabbing Uzi's face again and giving her a small kiss on her lips.

Uzi didn't fight back, she couldn't, even if she wanted to, she couldn't...

"Alright, stop hiding next time. I need to be able to see you." She expressed forcefully. She then grabbed her and left the bathroom.

Outside, she looked around and saw her friend around at the corner, then pushed Uzi on the wall. "Alright freak, next time hide in a better place. No one wants to see your ugly emo face. Maybe try to kill yourself so no one has to see your face anymore." She yelled, grabbing the attention of the people around. "See you after school~" she whispered, then turned around and joined her "friend" and walked away.

Uzi stood in place, trying to hold the tears inside. She had to stay strong, school was almost finished... Yet it was not over. It never was...

Slowly, she started walking towards her locker to grab her stuff and going back to her class.

On the way, she started thinking about Lizzy. It wasn't that bad though. Every time this happened, she would think how Lizzy was horrible and sh*t, but truly she was an angel. Always giving her attention, giving her love when they were on their own. Lizzy was a tad bit possessive, but she's sweet... when she's not mad.

She truly loves her, and Uzi truly loves her back. She just wishes her relationship could be less "toxic"...

Toxic?

No, just more normal...

Yeah...

Normal.
