Do Hilton employees get 50% off? ›

You will be able to enjoy 100 discounted nights per year, with Team Member room rates at Hilton properties as low as $40 USD, Family & Friends rates at up to 50% off publicly available rates and a 50% discount at participating hotel restaurants when staying with Go Hilton rates!

Each eligible Team Member can book and / or use up to 30 room nights per calendar year under Team Member rates and up to 70 room nights per calendar year under Family & Friends rates, for a total of 100 room nights per calendar year.

Hilton's loyalty program, Hilton Honors, has four tiers — Member, Silver, Gold, and Diamond. The highest tier, Hilton Diamond status, comes with the most benefits, including space-available room upgrades, a daily food and beverage credit, and elite gifting status.

To become a Lifetime Diamond Member, you must earn Hilton Diamond status for 10 years, and either stay a total of 1,000 nights (paid and reward nights combined) or accumulate 2 million Hilton base points from the time you joined the Hilton Honors program.

Special room and food rates

Many hotels offer reduced room rates for their employees or others in the industry. Plus, special industry rates can also extend to travel companions and family members. Some hotels also offer free or discounted meals for employees and others in the industry.

To qualify, you must complete 30 stays, stay 60 nights or earn 120,000 base points in a calendar year. However, primary cardholders of the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (see rates and fees) enjoy complimentary Diamond status as a perk of their card.

Once you have reached a certain elite tier, you may keep your status for the calendar year in which the elite tier was earned and the subsequent calendar year. To make it easier to keep your elite tier status, reward stays count toward elite tier qualification.

Discounts are as follows: Hilton Honors members will receive a discount – from 2% off the eligible rate – depending upon booking window, region or country, day of the week and other circ*mstances determined by Hilton Honors. Hilton Honors discount does not apply to all available rates.

If they do not have a Hilton Honors account, they can join Hilton Honors at joinHonors.com. You will then need to “authorize” them by adding them to your Family & Friends list via your Go Hilton account (the Lobby > My Applications > Go Hilton Account (TM Hilton Honors/ TMTP).

Hilton managed properties give annual raises based on your scoring on your annual review. Scaled 1-5, your score is the like percentage, ie if you score a 1, you will receive a 1% raise. There is guidelines on percentages of how many employees should score a 5 and so on.
